Female Oppression and the HIV Epidemic

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my Favorite Submission on the Citadel.

As a Peace Corps Volunteer I truly enjoy this design. It provides useful content in an easy to read fashion. I am curious to where these infographics will be utilized. We could always use some as volunteers here in Botswana :D

I wish I could zoom in and see the information more clearly because just seeing your preview I am intrigued by the color scheme and all the different graphs and icons on the screen. I really like how you tied HIV with the red scarf, I think that little detail is what drives this from just being an info graphic to telling a narrative. Well done!

Pretty much the only design that caught my eye from the beginning. You've got a nice use of visual hierarchy going on and the imagery/color really makes everything come together. If this is just a preview, I definitely cannot wait to see how the final idea will turn out. Great job!!

This design is great! Th colors definitely set an appropriate mood, and the graphics are very well-crafted. Also, the presentation of the information is accurate and well-organized. Definitely got my vote!

The idea for my piece is to focus on displaying the complex web of problems by using illustrations and unique graphs. The infographic will be split between the facts behind HIV, the social reasons for HIV in women and then the solution. In the final infographic, I hope to bring out a more dynamic structure with eye-popping typography and more illustrative imagery. If you vote for me, I promise to make my infographic the most compelling and unique of all. Being a New Media Designer, I have a strong background in web and motion. With my design, I'd love to turn this still into a moving, breathing (possibly interactive) piece. I absolutely love this challenge and what ICRW does. With this contest, I've learned so much about how oppressed women live around the world. Doing the research behind these facts has opened my eyes in a tremendous way. I truly want to help somehow.
